Walking along the nightly streets of London, there were several cases of disappearances around the rundown areas. Usually, she wouldn't go alone in such a bad location, but she couldn't find anyone that would go with her. Aislinn was walking with her holy water at hand, a silver dagger in the other. It was oddly silent in this area, and the clouds were blocking out the moon, making it much darker than it usually was.

"Well, well. We usually don't have pretty girls like this wandering around..." she heard a voice growl from behind. Turning around quickly, she was able to quickly identify that the man was a demon. She glared at him, holding up the holy water as she took a deep breath. "Stay back," she mumbled lowly as she continued to watch the being. The man laughed at her, stepping toward her quickly.

Noticing that he wasn't going to step back from her, she quickly opened the bottle and splashed it toward him. He simply laughed. "You can use that water all you want, baby. There's not enough for every one of us..." and Aislinn's eyes widened quickly as she turned around, noticing a crowd of ten others whose eyes were all black, heading toward her quickly. Her heart started to race as she shook her head. "No... no, no..." she mumbled to herself.

She immediately bolted from the area as they all began to chase her. She couldn't do this alone. Please, please, God, send me an angel. Send me someone. I need someone to help me, I can't rid of them all on my own! she quickly prayed as she headed into a warehouse. She quickly locked the door behind her and salted it. She ran for every entrace, salting all the doors before then drawing demon seals on the floor. "Dear god..."

Touching down in London, his old home, The Hunter became a flurry of activity as he pulled on the 'handbrake' and dashed over to his TV screen. He'd heard of the disappearances around here lately and currently being 'out of contract', thought that he would investigate himself. After all, the people of this place were still very much close to his heart and for all he knew it could be one of his friends who was missing. Well, a friend of his previous incarnation, it wasn't as if they'd recognise him now!

Ascertaining his precise location, it seemed as if he had landed in some kind of warehouse. A strangely empty one, but it didn't stay that way for long as a panic stricken young woman rushed in. That got his attention, especially when she began to furiously scatter salt at every entrance to the building before drawing symbols into the floor. It didn't take him long to recognise them as demon seals, and a wide grin spread across his face. Suddenly, things had gotten a whole lot more interesting, and he grabbed his crossbow as he exited the TARDIS, which had taken on the shape of a large, vertical storage container.

Standing in the doorway in a manner that was probably a little too casual given the situation, he smiled as he called over to her.

"Hello darling, need a hand?"

Hearing a voice, Aislinn gasped lightly as she turned and faced the man who was suddenly within the facility with her. "How did you get in here?" She quickly said. He must not be a demon if he was able to get passed the salt. She sighed in relief as she looked around for a moment. "Wait, are you an angel?" she quickly narrowed her eyes. How interesting that the minute she began praying, someone came to her aid.

She looked back at the door where the demons would have been trying to pry through. "There's at least a dozen of them behind that door. They ambushed me," she sighed. She looked around for a moment and then sat down in the chair she had placed at one end of the warehouse. She looked over the seals carefully. If a demon were to barge in and knock the salt over some how, they'd land in it.

Castiel had been tracking a massive demon grouping. He hadn't gone in and eliminated them yet because he was hoping to find it's source. He hadn't seen this many demons working together in a very long time. He was across the street of the warehouse, watching many of the members of the group run to it. Clearly, there was something of interest in there. Better get to it before they did, in case it was something important.

He sensed another two other life forms inside, both of them not human. Sighing in exasperation, he disappeared from his location to reappear inside. He was a few meters away from the two people. They hadn't seen him yet, so he decided to keep quiet and watch. He saw the salt and seals by the door, so he assumed they were aware of the fact that demons did indeed exist. So they were probably hunters then. Fantastic. Taking a closer look at the woman, he realized with a start that he'd seen her before. She was the half angel he'd met not too long ago.

When the woman asked the man if he was an angel, he could hold back his laugh. Knowing that he could no longer hide, he stepped closer to the two and chuckled, "No, Nephilim, he isn't one of us. He is... something new."

o.o.c.: Since Aislinn and Cas are in the Sacrifice thread together, I'll just use that one as their meeting thread, and this one as the one he agrees to protect her? Unless you'd like that in a separate thread? o.o

It seemed as though he'd made her jump, judging by the way she gasped and whirled around to face him. Hardly surprising, considering that there were demons after her, he supposed. Thankfully for him though, it seemed as though she had reached the conclusion herself that he at least wasn't a demon. She then asked if he was an angel, to which he laughed and opened his mouth to reply, when he was beaten to it. Where had this person come from, he wondered as he turned to face him. He didn't raise his weapon to him though as something gave him the distinct feeling that it wouldn't be necessary. besides, he hadn't loaded it yet, so it would be of very little use to him anyway!

Loading his crossbow with iron bolts, he smiled up at them.

"Nope, not a demon and I'm certainly no angel", he confirmed with a hint of mirth in his voice. "Not something new either though, my people are more ancient than you could probably imagine", he added rather sombrely as he briefly thought of his peoples fate. Out of billions, as far as he knew there were only three of his kind still existing. As far as he knew...

It was then that something else hit him, causing him to lower his crossbow and reach for his Sonic Pen. Demons, angels and now nephilim? Could it be? He scanned both the individuals in front of him, his eyes widening as he grinned broadly.

"Well I am blessed", he remarked in awe before remembering the current predicament. "Never mind, how many demons are we looking at, did you see?", he asked the nephilim woman.

OOC: Castiel, as we mentioned before, they met and dealt with Raptus, but then he declined to help her further or be her "guardian" as she called it. XD So maybe they've had a few run ins since that, and he's actually starting to care about her, so he decides to accept it, I guess. Razz

Looking at the hunter for a long moment, she suddenly heard something from behind and noticed that it was Castiel making his appearance known as he spoke. She smiled lightly in relief that he was there, but then quickly hid it because she was still irritated with him over the fact that he was refusing to help her. Why was he here then?

When he then spoke of this man being "something else", she turned to him with furrowed brows in concentration to observe him. Her astral perception wasn't picking up anything about him that was either graceful nor demonic, so what was going on with him? He was ancient? "What exactly are you then?"

When he then asked about the demons, she sighed, looking toward the door. "Well, there was one main demon I was after. He tricked me though, and there were maybe ten to twelve others that were waiting to come after me. I'm not sure where they all came from, but they've been here for a while I think. I came here hearing several complaints about them by other hunters."

He sighed when the man scanned him with his strange device. "Yes, I know what you are. You aren't the first I've met," he rolled his eyes slightly. Looking back at Aislinn, he saw that she looked partly relieved, and partly annoyed at his appearance. Frowning lightly, he decided not to ask about it, since he had a feeling it was due to the fact he'd refused to protect her.

When Aislinn mentioned that she'd been hunting a certain demon, he tensed slightly. "Raptus?" he asked, his voice tight. It was strange, he was usually very good at keeping his composure. But this demon really irritated the angel.

OOC: Sorry, just realised it was my turn lol

"Time Lord", he responded simply to Aislinn as he ignored Castiel's impetuous response. He was curious about how an angel had come to be acquainted with his people, but that was perhaps a story for another time. They were completely surrounded, but at least they had demon seals and salt on their side. And the TARDIS should things really go to hell, quite literally. The Hunter hated to run, but even he knew that there were times when discretion was the better part of valour. Only as a last resort though, a very last resort!

Listening to the womans explanation of the current situation, Hunter nodded as he checked over his armament. He had iron bolts loaded into his personal weapon of choice, but failing all else he had more than a few blades and guns in his armoury. Conveniently, he kept this in his control room, so getting them wouldn't take too long if he needed to. Hopefully, they weren't looking at demons of too high a level here, as neither iron nor the holy water that he carried on his belt would be of much use.  The use of either should at least buy enough time for an exorcism, that he was pretty confident of!

"So around thirteen, unlucky for some eh?", he announced as he grinned at the two holy being that occupied the warehouse with him. "For them that is, so we can do one of three things. We can stay here and pass the time with idle chat and I-spy, scarper off back to heaven or pretty much anywhere in time or space, or we can combine forces and take down these sorry sons of bitches before anyone gets hurt" He then offered a small smile before continuing. "I'm for option three"

Looking back at the hunter and listening what he had said, she shook her head quickly. "I'm not about to just back away and let these demons take hold of anyone that gets in their way. We exorcise them, and we do it quickly and efficiently," she nodded, looking back at the doors that were salted down.

When Castiel and then asked her if the demon she was after was Raptus, she nodded. "I had gotten word that he was down here. Turns out it was just a mob, most likely put here to ambush me," she sighed. What the hell did he want from her? She couldn't quite understand. Shaking her head, she sighed. "I don't understand why he's hunting me so vigorously. I have to take him out before he takes me out."
