Angry Encounters // The Tenth Doctor

Madame Verada was aboard her ship that had strayed from the rest of the fleets that were apart of the Silence. She had some business to take care of... and Time Lords to trace. It was her job, of course, to make sure that the prisoners were kept in, well, prisons. And several of them escaped due to an unfortunate encounter with The Doctor. Verada was not happy about this. Not one bit.

Sitting in the captain's chair with one leg crossed over the other, she took a deep breath in, watching the radar like a hawk. One of the service men entered the room frantically, waiting for her to allow him to speak. Putting her hand up in the air to give him permission, he began. "Ma'am, we 'ave a problem..." the man looked around for a moment. "We have an intruding signal that's trying to enter the ship!"

A smirk curled up on Madame Verada's lips as she nodded. "I see... and who do you think it might be? What else moves in such a... dodgy manner?" she looked over the radar again. "Oh that does look like a TARDIS all right..." she laughed lightly to herself. "It's quite all right, Bishop. He's on our black list. Let him on board and bring him on over to me then."

The Doctor was pacing around the console, pushing a button and pulling a lever every three seconds. He had only one person on his mind. Verada... He had endangered someone close to him, and he didn't like it. Not. One. Little. Bit. He pulled a lever once he rounded the console for a fourth time.

Sure, at this point, Demory wanted nothing to do with him, but he still held her close to his hearts. Verada would pay for what she's done. Something blipped on the console, and he had turned his head to look at the monitor. "Oh...so she knows I'm coming then?" He pushed a few buttons, changing the distination of the TARDIS landing.

He was originally going to land in a store room, but he didn't want to give her the satisfaction of capturing him. He set the TARDIS to land right on the bridge of her ugly abomination of a ship. As soon as the TARDIS materialized, he slowly stepped out, wearing his blue suit and brown trench coat. He slowly turned to lock the TARDIS doors behind him, and then gave his adversary a cold stare.

"Hello, Verada." He said with a smirk.

"That's Madame Verada to you," she gave a cold, emotionless gaze, one leg crossed over the other as she sat, relaxed in her chair. "And I don't like your manners. People don't just materialize their ships right into my quarters. That's incredibly rude of you," she narrowed her eyes as her lips lightly curled into a smile. "And you are not the Doctor I expected to show up... how interesting."

Locking the doors so that no one could enter to interrupt them, she pressed a button so that the ship was now in auto pilot. She rested her cheek upon her hand as her elbow sunk into the arm of the chair, just waiting to see what it was that this man wanted. Why was he here? He just willingly came to her out of the blue? 

"So?" she then began. "What's your reason of interrupting my search? Did I do something?" she lazily waved her hand up to gesture him in confusion. Quite honestly, she could care less about what he wanted from her. She'd probably just send him away to be captured anyways. She was far too tired of this goose chase.

"Oh, you didn't really do anything." He paced around the bridge as he spoke. "Just, you're apart of a group that is a large threat to the universe, and I've heard that you were torturing my friends." He gave her a cold stare. "And frankly, I'm not to fond of that."

He spun around on his heals, patting his chest as he spoke. "You want me? here I am." He peered around the bridge for a bit. "Gotta say...for someone with the title Madame, I was expecting something a bit more extravagant.... this just looks like a floating hunk of metal, ooh, no class at all!"

"This ship is one of the finest in all of the universe. And you're one to talk. All you have is a floating box with malfunctioning controls," she shook her head. "You make this far too easy... give me a challenge. I don't like when my pray just walks right up to me... I've got to toy with it first," she smirked.

She thought about what he had said while silence took over the room and she laughed lightly. "Torturing your friends, eh...? So far all I've done is tortured a Time Lady by the name of Demorytor... and as a matter of fact, I have her records right here!" she went into her files, pulling one of them out quickly. "Ah yes, here we go. Regenerated a little over a century ago, and look at this! She absolutely hates you. So much, it made it to our records."

Shaking her head, she rolled her eyes. "I'll never understand why she ever comes ba--ooooh don't want to spill those beans. My bad. So sorry. I've got business to take care of and you're making me bored. Tootaloo," she waved him off quickly, turning around. "I need to find that whore. She owes me a new Silent slave..."

A fire lit up in his chest when she said the word whore. But, he kept it in, like he always did, he acted in his normal cheeky manner. "Well, I'm sorry, but when The Doctor says he wants to talk, he wants to talk."

He stepped up top her sitting casually in the chair. "Now, I'm telling you...if you ever hurt anyone close to me ever again, you'll know why they call me The Bringer of Darkness."

"Ooh, you're threatening me, eh?" she smirked. "Good, brilliant, I love it." she then rolled her eyes. "I don't really believe you though. The only darkness you've brought to us is that black void that used to be Gallifrey," she shrugged. "Otherwise, you're just a childish and selfish man who likes to make people feel sorry for him. 'The last time lord'" she gave an annoyed sigh.

"Another thing," she then said quickly, "If you could keep that tramp on a leash, that'd be great. Every time she dies, her form gets a bit more troublesome for us," she glowered. "I think you should know; every time she dies, it's your fault. It's really annoying. We're tracing four different forms of her right now, although the most annoying one is probably the one you've yet to meet. Ugh."

"I know what you're trying to do...ohoho yes I know." He smiled at her, pacing around the bridge. "You miss, are tryting to make me angry." He looked at her dead in the eye. "And I'm telling you right now, that is a very, very big mistake...." He took a step closer to her. "The rage of a Time Lord is not something to be taken lightly...." He turned his back to her and walked away.

"The Reign of the Silence is ending. And you know it, don't you?"

Upon hearing his realization, another smirk curled upon Verada's lips as she crossed her arms in front of her. Rolling her eyes lightly at his comment, she shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. "Honestly, seeing you angry is quite amusing. You do things you regret and seeing how you handle that is quite a treat. Especially when around those whom love you so dearly. They don't even know who you are when you act like that and they fear you." she laughed. "How does it feel to be feared by the ones who love you?"

As he began walking away, he made a comment about Silence falling. She gave another chuckle as she shook her head. "If we're ending... then that means you are coming to an end as well. You will fall when we fall... and you know that's true."

He was confused about her statement of him falling along with the silence....it probably had something to do with his future. He noticed that she had begun to walk away. "I wasn't done." He said, his voice deathly cold.

Stopping where she was upon hearing his threatening voice, she slowly turned herself around with a twisted smile. "I think you are... but fine." she insisted. "Of course, if there's more you have to say, you better say it fast before I change my mind." she kept her arms crossed with a straight face.

There was suddenly a beeping on the radar and with a curious expression, Verada quickly went to investigate it. Looking over it, she snickered lightly as she then turned to the Doctor. "Looks like finally caught on to your tramp of yours... only this time..." she looked over the reviews. "A flying van, huh? Looks like this is your brat." Pressing on the intercom, she spoke loudly. "Lock on her and bring her to the prison area."
