Time of the Doctor Discussion (SPOILERS!)

Warning! There are spoilers in here. If you have not seen The Time of the Doctor, your discretion is very advised since we are discussing it!

Okay, so let's talk about it! Our thoughts, how we feel about Matt leaving and Peter stepping in, the way it played out, everything!

I thought it was very silly. I feel like they were trying hard to make sure we enjoyed it and had fun, despite the sadness that was to come. They played around with it and gave us some good laughs to settle us in.

The Doctor seemed a bit too flirty though. I don't know, but he seemed flirtier than usual. He made a joke about having sex with Clara, he smacked Clara's butt, started making innuendo jokes to Mother Superior, kissed her, and was just all around awkward with being romantic XD It was quite funny but dang. He must be sexually frustrated.

The fact that we see a Time Lord actually age is very intense. We see that he obviously has grown old in this body and that they really do outgrow their bodies over time. He must have been in that body for almost a thousand years to age like that. It's so intense. He decides to stay in Christmas to protect them, leaves Clara and sacrifices adventure for the protection of others. Ugh, that is so like him.

The very comforting part about this is that he is not actually killed. He dies naturally, of old age. I feel like things would have been a lot worse if he were to have died suddenly, unexpectedly, in the middle of battle. It's so intense.

Of course, to make matters worse though, he comes back younger, still in the regeneration cycle. Which was the most heart wrenching scene. When Clara begins to cry, and the Doctor makes his final speech about never forgetting who he is as that Doctor, I noticed something. He starts this body eating fish fingers and custard, as well as ends it.  The 'crack' in the wall was the first thing to start his adventure and last to end. Amelia was the first face his face saw, as well as the last. And he starts his journey putting the bowtie on, and ends it taking it off.

That is some powerful stuff to me. But what got to me the most was when he began hallucinating and seeing young Amelia pond running around the stairwell, and then the older one walking down the stairs, touching his face, saying "Raggedy Man, goodbye," and then in the next scene, she's not really there, and his face just looks defeated, and in utter misery. Oh, and don't forget the fact that the Rings of Akhattan is playing in the background. LIKE THANKS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I cried so much. I sobbed until I couldn't anymore and dehydrated myself. That absolutely was painful to watch.

But PROPS TO FASTEST REGENERATION WE DIDN'T FUCKING EXPECT EVER! He just stumbles and BAM, crazy Scotts man. Like whoa. But his first line was absolutely awesome and I can already tell that he's going to be brilliant.

Like honestly, the whole episode was absolutely brilliant, and the innuendos made me laugh, and I quite liked them. But maybe that's because I ship

But the regeneration...I've never cried so much ever D8 Well I have but still it was a very sad moment and my feels are hurt forever and jsdbjfsdkhbshdfgbsdf. HE F*CKING SNEEZED AND THEN BAM PETER CAPALDI. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, though.

"No, no! Please don't change." When I heard Clara say that, along with all her other emotional lines in the show, my feels broke. Ugh. I will never be the same again. Ever.

But yes. I have a feeling that Capaldi is going to be brilliant. We shall see.
