Today was more different than usual. By that, Ethne was in a rather nervous mood, which was not natural to her over confident behavior. Pacing around within her nest, she bit her lip. Something smelled different. There was a strange feel for the air, as though she was not alone. It wasn't the smell of other humans, though. It was the smell of other vampires. What really baffled her about the scent though, was that while it was incredibly different, it was, at the same time, very familiar.

As nightfall came, Ethne decided it was time for her city inspections… seeing how many hunters were roaming around and if there were any other monsters that could possibly be interrupting her feeding schedules. When other monsters were in the city, it made it much harder to actually feed without being caught or spotted by hunters. She got this far without being suspected, and she wasn't about to let some random, stupid vampires or werewolves, or anything take that from her.

Of course, there was the situation with the hunters who lived on Camberwood Grove. That boarding house was full of dangerous hunters that Ethne was not in the mood for. She had managed to kill a good number of them the last time they had gone hunting for her nest, but there were a few stragglers or those who didn't partake in the hunt that survived. Now, two big shot hunters from America were living there, and she knew of their power. She had heard the whispers of them, back when Eve was in her reign.

Walking down the street in the night, passing through the alleyways as she made herself public in the downtown area, she was wearing a leather jacket with a short black dress, laced tights, and leather, laced boots. Her makeup was smoky, and she had decided to look around the main parts of the downtown area to see if everything was under control. She could feel the presence of one of her kind around.

Finally night had fallen, meaning that Eamon could once again awaken and breath in the fresh London air! Well, perhaps fresh wasn't quite the word he was looking for, but either way the first thing he felt was the usual pang of hunger. Hunger for human blood, though he much preferred to leave them in peace. Then again, how was taking from animals any different? At the end of the day, weren't humans simply over glorified apes? The hunters around here didn't seem to agree, as the more humans that were attacked, the more zealous they got in their mission to exterminate all those of his ilk! The inner debate raged on as he moved off from the abandoned building in which he had been hiding, ready to go and eager for blood. This world was survival of the fittest, after all, and he had to be keep a sharp eye in case the predator became the prey. In other words, it was pretty much the same as any other night! Well, almost...

As soon as he had awoken, he had caught the scent of something unfamiliar, yet strangely inviting. Then again, was it really that strange to him?

Against his better judgement, Eamon decided to follow the scent, tracking it carefully as he remained well aware of his 'craving'. Perhaps it would be a better idea to eat first and seek out later, especially seeing as what he had picked up didn't smell like particularly like dinner. He eventually caught sight of several people, but one woman in particularly stood out. Was it her scent he'd picked up? Perhaps he could follow her for a bit to find out.

Standing firm and tall, Ethne stood still in the empty street for a long moment as she felt the strange presence of another being… one like her, yet not enough like her. "Well, well," she murmured to herself in a humming tone as she closed her eyes, taking a sniff in the air. "That is quite a delightful taste in the air."

Turning herself around slowly, she began to walk in the direction of the scent, looking around thoughtfully and keeping her guard up at all times. Then she caught it. "Gotcha," she smirked as she started to run in the direction of it. Turning the corner and finding her way in the area of the scent, She stood still in the middle of the street, watching the figure closely.

"I don't enjoy being followed, especially by other vampires who don't make themselves known willingly," she spoke coyly, shrugging for a moment. "If you come forward now, I may consider keeping you alive…" she smirked, crossing her arms as she waited for the man to make an appearance officially.

Great, caught, but then that was a pretty obvious outcome, all things considered. He would have been far better leaving well alone, but he just didn't know when to quit. That was how he had ended up in this mess to begin with, after all. Still, there was something strangely alluring about this particular vampire, something that despite his best efforts he couldn't help but be drawn to. He had heard that a new coven had moved into the area, but he had hoped to stay away. No matter how hard he tried though, he couldn't resist what he had become. A pack animal with no pack. It was against the natural order of things, something that even a hunter, no, former hunter couldn't deny!

Stepping out from the shadows, he looked right into the females eyes as he attempted to not show he fear. He wasn't afraid of her per se, even though he probably should have been, but of what he couldn't put his finger on. Perhaps he had been alone long enough and needed to...oh what was he saying?

[b]"You may consider keeping me alive? That has to count for something", he retorted with a smirk. Perhaps he really shouldn't peeve her off, but he had to show that he wasn't about to cower before her. Just because she was so much older, judging from the scent, and so much more powerful. The odds were against him alright!
