Personality: Jack Harkness is a flirt he flirts with anything that moves and enjoys it becuse it's a good time. He will also sleep with anyone and anything will to do so because he knows that there are so many species out there. He's very fond of finding others that will flirt because then they can enjoy each other's company and have fun. He enjoys relaxing and flirting is part of that as well as having time around other people.

Jack is also a drinker, he prefers to discuss business while drinking it makes things easier to deal with. He used to be a coward and that changed abruptly when he met the Ninth Doctor whom he became friends with. He was no longer a coward but he still loved to drink and spend time with people, Jack is a very social man. Despite Jack's outward nature inside is a man that is very unsure of his existance and whether or not he wants to die but he knows that death is not going to be easy.

He is ruthless to anything he perceives as a threat and he is more than willing to kill anyone that becomes a threat. He doesn't lack compassion he just doesn't allow it to play a part in his life when he's on duty dealing with threats. Jack is very aggressive and willing to do anything at all to protect the earth and those he calls friend. He will tell stories about his sex life and anything else that is his life.

Powers/Skills True Immortality he can not die. Evolved pheromones that make him naturally nice smelling and attractive to others. Telepathy can not be used on him, why no one knows but he can not be affected by Telepathy.
History: Jack was born in an Earth Colony far away from Earth, when he was young he suffered tragedy. Then he left when he was old enough and began traveling the universe, he wasn't interested in remembering his past. He did have a lot of experiences with people and he began to develop the way he is now. Jack prefered to run away and be a coward rather than being brave and standing up to threats that was until a fateful encounter.

When Jack was in World War Two he met the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler, he traveled with them unitl The Bad Wolf incident. Where he gained his immortality and he became a fixed point, he was a reality but he was an impossibility. Jack has died a few times through out the years of history and he works for Torchwood, where he has a relationship with another man named Ianto Jones. Jack also has slept with and flirted with many people even with Ianto in his life because he couldn't help being the way he was.

Roleplay Sample: Jack smiled to himself as he whistled a bit this was going to be a really long day. Jack sighed as he walked along, this wasn't one of his better days Ianto was busy and so was he but then again the world was going to hell in a handbasket. What with Weeping Angels around, Cybermen and may be Daleks he had his work cut out for him. Though with The Doctor out there the world would be just fine and he'd be aable to take care of things as best as he could because he was a part of Torchwood.

Wonder if Rose is really dead. Jack thought as he walked on from the spot he'd been at, walking down the road. It was rather calm and peaceful which was by and far the most different thing ever, he'd have to be careful in order to take care of Torchwood and thus his friends. Why did he have to meet The Doctor? He shook his head and smiled to himself as he looked around.
