The Doctor flipped three switches on the console and eyed the monitor. There was something odd going on in the Time Vortex, and he was going to find out what. It was a strange anomaly in time, and whatever it was, it couldn't be good. It never was. In fact, the Cloister Bell had rung no more than two minutes ago. He pulled another lever, trying to track down the exact location of the anomaly. If he could find that, he could find out what it was, and what it was doing.

Rose had just materialized after setting the dimension cannon for about the fiftieth time. With a groan, she staggered a few steps to the side, holding her head. No matter how many times she did it, travel without a capsule was absolutely horrid. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, waiting for the feeling that she was spinning to stop. Once she was fairly certain she wouldn't just topple over, she opened her eyes. Appeared to be in a deserted street. Sighing, she started to walk down it one way, but almost tripped. "Right then," she mumbled, sitting on the sidewalk, "No walking for me."

(Hope you don't mind me joining too)

With both hands gripping firmly to the TARDIS console, even Donna could figure out that whatever was going on was bad. So far though, the doctor had failed to explain anything, just pressing buttons and flipping switches as he always did. Typical, she thought as her heart was still pounding after the sound of the cloister bell ringing just moments ago. She could still here it in her mind, but right now she gathered that was the least of her problems.

"Are you going to tell me what's happening?", she demanded almost as though it was an order. She tried to keep the panic from her voice, but it wasn't an easy feat.

(Of course not! The more the merrier! Also, I'd love to see how Rose and Donna react to each other. Sass and Jealousy....who will win!?)

"Oi, panicky are you?" He remarked, noticing the panic in her voice. He had to give her credit though, she did do a good job of hiding it.... "There's an anomaly in the Time Vortex, something's gone wibbly, and it's not supposed to be wibbly, I'm seeing if we can't find out what it is!" He paced around the console again, stepping around Donna when he got to her, pushing every button and pulling every lever along the way.

After a while, the TARDIS came to an abrupt stop, causing The Doctor to stumble on his feet a bit. He clutched the console tightly to keep himself from falling. "Well, looks like we're here."

(This will be interesting Razz)

After a few moments, she got bored of just sitting there. She got up and started walking slowly. She stopped abruptly at the end of the street when she heard it. The sound she'd become so attuned to. Her heart beating loudly, she turned on the spot, looking at the blue phone box with wide eyes.

"Come to check out the anomaly, have you Doctor?", she whispered, still frozen on the spot. Please, let it be him, she begged desperately, Please let him be the right one. She was so tired of false hopes.

( Smile )

"I am not panicking!", she claimed with a particular emphasis on the 'not'. As he began to explain, she hoped that he wasn't taking the mickey out of her for his sake. Otherwise he might just lose his 'anomalies'.

"Wait, what do you mean somethings gone 'wibbly'?", she asked as he finished. He didn't get chance to answer though as the TARDIS stopped so abruptly that they were both forced to hold on to the console for dear life! Again, she thought, but then wasn't that half the fun?

"Looks like we're where?", she asked as The Doctor made his observation. It was obvious that they had landed, but what were they going to run into this time? The Racnoss, Sontarans, giant wasps? Whatever it was, they would need to be ready. Not that anyone could really be ready for something that was likely to try and kill them, and she'd had more than her fair share of close calls! On second thoughts, nah, there was always room for more!

"Looks like we're.....on a street in London...." He said as he opened the doors. It was strange....how were they back in London? The anomaly couldn't be here......"Hang on...." He said. "Something doesn't feel right...." He threw on his brown longcoat and swaggered outside, scanning the area witht he Sonic. "Doesn't feel like London..."

As he walked down the street, he stopped in his tracks when he saw her. "Impossible...." He said, barely above a whisper, staggerting over to her. His mout could hardly form the words....but he knew who this woman was. "Rose Tyler?"

Rose watched as the doors of the blue box opened, a strange burning in the back of her throat. She saw him come out, trench coat and all, and started scanning with his sonic, unable to make a sound. She'd done it. She'd actually, really done it.

When the Doctor finally noticed her, he heart started beating a mile a minute. What if he didn't want her there? What if he took her back to the parallel world again? She wouldn't be able to survive another rejection like that.

Pushing all uncertainties to the side, she smiled weakly at the sound of her name and laughed. Only the did she realize she'd been crying, sniffling and wiping her face dry, she looked at the ground. Well, this was more difficult than she'd thought it would be. Looking back up at him, she murmured "Oh, come on then Doctor, how many times have we proven that there is no impossible?"

"We're in London?", Donna asked as she watched The Doctor exit the TARDIS claiming that something didn't feel right. How many times had she heard that one before, she wondered as she crossed her arms and leaned on the console. She then let them drop to their sides as she decided that she wasn't just going to stand around here. He hadn't said to stay, but then would she have anyway! Not likely!

Making her way out, she heard him saying someones name in a tone that suggested that this was someone he hadn't seen in a very long time. Nor had he expected to see them again, and she craned her neck for a look. A blonde girl smiled back at him, and she rolled her eyes as she marched up behind him.

"Oi, you told me you were checking out something 'wibbly', and here I find you chatting up a blonde!", she chastised him in disbelief before sighing. "Typical man, that's what you are...", she then continued as she eyed the girl stood not too far away. Just who was she anyway?

He turned back to Donna when she had opened up a can of 'Donna Noble's Own Original Sass'. "Oi, it's not like that!" He walked over to Rose and gestured to her as he spoke. "This is Rose Tyler, an old friend of mine." He looked back at her, almost as if he was investigating something. "Thought I lost her for good, but here she is! How, I have no idea....."

Rose stayed silent as the two bickered. She winced slightly when he denied their relationship being anything more than good friends, but didn't pursue it. They could get to that... later. Before getting to him, she desperately wanted to hear the Doctor finish his sentence. Now, after all this time, she felt a worm of doubt make itself known in her heart.

She realized that the Doctor had stopped talking for a while, and was looking at her as if he was expecting some answer. Thankfully, she'd hidden away the dimension canon in the small backpack she had. She had a funny feeling that the Doctor wouldn't approve. Hopefully he wouldn't search it, her gun was hiding in there too...

She grinned up at him, her tongue poking out of her teeth "Since when do I comply to the rules? Wasn't about to let you dump me in that god forsaken universe again... Pete's absolutely unbearable.", she rolled her eye melodramatically as she complained loudly. "I am so through with domestics." She stopped talking then as she felt the stab of pain in her head again. Her smile faltered for a second, and she diverted her eyes from the Doctor's, bringing them down to the ground instead.

Post by Donna Noble Wed Jan 29, 2014 4:41 pm

"Rose Tyler?", Donna asked before the realisation hit her. "Rose Tyler", she then repeated slowly in surprise. He had mentioned her once or twice, the first being on the day of her almost wedding. He had mentioned losing her, and Donna had interpreted that as her having been killed. He had said she was alive, and he had briefly elaborated after she had started traveling with him, but how could someone lost suddenly just come back? Had that caused the anomaly he had been harping on about?

It was then that Rose herself gave away her part of the story, and Donna whipped around to face The Doctor.

"You dumped her in another universe?", she asked in disbelief. Part of that was due to the fact that it was even possible. Her eyes had really been opened, more so than she ever thought possible, but this was something else!

The other reason had to be that she couldn't believe he would actually do that. Tried it on with her though, and she'd have him!

"Hey, I had no choice!" He said when Donna had yelled at him for leaving her in another universe. "If it counts, I burned a star just to say goodbye..." He looked down when that memory resurfaced.....at the time, he really did love her.....he couldn't tell her that he had moved on...just in case Rose still loved him....somehow he always knew...he was knocked from his trance when he noticed Rose stumble a bit in pain.

"Rose!?" He said, as he moved over and held her up, keeping her from falling. "You alright?"

She smiled weakly at him. "You know, found that incredibly melodramatic of you. I mean, burning up a star just to see me one last time... If you were going to be as drastic as that, you could have at least made yourself substantial enough so I could hug you...", she knew she was babbling, but she didn't know what to tell the Timelord. She still wasn't quite clear about the headaches yet, so she just leaned into him, and kept going on about absolutely nothing at all.

The pain in The Doctors voice and eyes was enough to make her stop and bite her lip as she continued to watch the reunion unfold. There was a little too much cuddling going on for her liking, and Donna couldn't help but wonder if these two had perhaps been more than friends. She didn't mind that so much, in fact she was welcome to him in that respect, bu the fact he had burned a star just to say goodbye really told her everything he needed to know.

Leaving The Doctor to hug his blonde 'friend', Donna turned just in time to see something. What kind of a something, she had no idea, but there had definitely been something in the corner of her eye.

"Doctor, did you see that?", she asked him as she pointed toward a building not too far ahead. She would be pretty annoyed if he hadn't because she definitely hadn't been imagining things!

The Doctor looked up from Rose when Donna had asked for his attention. He saw something faint turn a corner into the alley behind a building. "Yes...I did...." Whatever it was, it couldn't be good. "Just like old times, eh?" He asked, smiling at Rose.

"Come on, let's see if you can stand! We've got work to do!" He began gradually helping her back onto her feet.

The look of excitement in the Doctor's eyes had her grinning widely. Her headache pushed aside, she straightened quickly. Looking around to the place where Donna had pointed, she searched eagerly for what the Doctor's new companion had seen. She was finally going on an adventure with the Doctor again.

"Oh, I've missed this..." she murmured softly to herself, still staring at the spot where the other two had looked.

Just like old times. Brilliant, she thought sarcastically as all of a sudden she had found herself feeling side lined as soon as his old friend reappeared to him. Story of my life, she thought as she watched him help her up. Was she jealous? No way, at least not in that sense. She was his friend and companion, nothing more, not even if she were paid!

It seemed Rose was pretty excited at the prospect of picking up where they had left off, Donna just hoped that she wouldn't be made to watch! Somehow she didn't think that it was the adventures she'd missed.

"So what is it then, what are we dealing with", she asked. After all, he always knew what was going on well before anyone else did, and if he didn't he made it up as he went along anyway! She always knew though.

The Doctor heard Rose's words and smiled broadly at her, she was really here and he would enjoy whatever time he had. Knowing that she had gone while trying to save the Earth and protect it from Daleks and Cyber Men. He smiled at Rose then looked to where Donna had pointed knowing something was going on.

"I'm not quite sure, yet. But let's go find out, Allons-y!" He set off at a decent pace heading towards the area. He was curious as to what it was and he had two friends with him that made it even better, he liked Rose but she was gone..There wasn't any room left for her, he had The Pariah.

The Doctor started thinking on how he'd tell Rose that he'd moved on, that he had The Pariah and that Rose herself needed to go back to Meta-Crisis. After all Meta-Crisis was left with her for a reason and he needed to be sure he got taken care of. There was a sense of responsibility there where it concerned his part human clone.
