History: Demory was born on Gallifrey, the home planet of her people. When she was only a small girl, her parents were aware of the war that was going on, and with the Time War, they kept her in hiding. They feared more for their daughter and refused to get her involved with the Time War. They asked the Doctor to take her somewhere safe, away from the war. When the planet was destroyed, Demory wasn't left with anything to go back to, so the Doctor had sent her to be raised by Torchwood until she was old enough to learn the ways of a Time Lady.

She now travels around Earth and is studying abroad to become a paleontologist. She absolutely loves the idea of exploring and finding ancient artifacts and bones of prehistoric animals. She is more intrigued by Earth than Space or Time Travel.
